Health Insurance
All regular, full-time employees and their dependants are eligible for health insurance. PureBit provides medical coverage through a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) / Health Savings Account for all eligible employees.
401(k) Plan
PureBit offers a 401k plan for all its employees. Please note that participation in this plan is not mandatory, but it is a great vehicle for investing in your future and saving on taxes. Unlike some of the other 401(k) plans that you might have invested in the past, where you would be only allowed to invest in a few pre-selected set of mutual or managed investment funds, the investment choices offered by this plan are almost limitless with providers like The Vanguard Group, Fidelity Investments etc. and Stock Brokerage institutions such as Scottrade.
Flex Savings Cafeteria Plan
A flex savings cafeteria plan provides PureBit employees an opportunity to receive certain benefits on a pretax basis. Qualified benefits include:
- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA’s): An FSA allows an employee to fund certain medical / qualified expenses on a pre-taxed basis through salary reduction to pay for out-of-pocket expenses that aren't covered by insurance (for example, annual deductibles, office co-payments, prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs and orthodontia). The pre-tax contribution for this plan is limited to $1000.00.
- Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts: The dependent care FSA is an attractive benefit for employees who pay for child-care or long-term care for their parents. Employees may hold back as much as $5,000 annually of their pre-tax salary for dependent care expenses, which include expenses they pay while they work, look for work or attend school full time. Qualified dependent care expenses may include--but are not limited to--the care of a child under the age of 13, long-term care for parents, care for a disabled spouse or a dependent incapable of caring for himself and summer day camps. In addition, by paying for dependent care with pre-tax dollars, PureBit employees can save approximately 20 to 40 percent on their child-care expenses
- POP (Premium Only Plan): POP is a pre-tax contribution plan to cover any health insurance premiums paid by employees (for them and there family). By electing to enroll in this plan, any premium deductions currently applied to the payroll every month, will be covered on a pre-tax basis. The result of paying health insurance premiums through the POP Plan may be lower income taxes and, often, an increase in take-home pay. The pre-tax contribution is limited to the amount of premium you pay.
- Commuter Benefits Plan is a qualified transportation benefit program under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) § 132 which allows employees to pay for certain employment-related transportation expenses on a pre-tax basis. This plan provides employees to pay up-to $115.00 per month for transit-pass / monthly commuter train-pass / Vanpool service expenses on a pre-tax basis and $220.00 per month for work-related parking expenses on a pre-tax basis.
Paid Holidays & Vacation
PureBit offers 7 holidays, which will be paid to all regular full-time employees after six months of employment and they are: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Employees who are at other client sites will observe the holidays taken by their client up to a maximum of 7 days per year based on PureBit’s 40-hour work week.
You are also eligible for paid vacation for each year of your employment with PureBit.

PureBit offers relocation assistance to full time employees from project to project.
